At the end of June 2014, I defended my PhD thesis in Geology at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in France entitled“Processus d’obduction : quelle ampleur, quelle durée, quelle(s) cause(s) ? Le cas de la branche nord de la Néotéthys en Anatolie et Petit Caucase (Turquie, Arménie)”
in English: “The obduction process: what extent, what timing, what cause(s)? The study of the northern branch of Neotethys in Anatolia and the Lesser Caucasus (Turkey and Armenia)”
This work was carried out at GEOAZUR laboratory (https://geoazur.oca.eu/) within the framework and financial support of the DARIUS PROGRAMME (a consortium of seven oil companies, the Univ. of Paris VI and CNRS, http://134.157.120.36/darius/index.html) under the supervision of Marc SOSSON and Yann ROLLAND.
I have been qualified by the French National Council of Universities (CNU) as able to teach the structure and evolution of the Earth and other planets as well as the geodynamics of the upper layers of the Earth and of the paleobiosphere:
· Section 35 - Structure and evolution of the Earth and other planets
(Structure et évolution de la Terre et des autres planètes)
qualification n° 15235275409
· Section 36 - Solid Earth: geodynamics of the upper layers, paleobiosphere
(Terre solide : géodynamique des enveloppes supérieures, paléobiosphère)
qualification n° 15236275409
